2010

So it's almost 2010 and I have to say 2009 had it's up and downs. Some moments that took my breath away and some moments that just could not get any worse. However, what's done is done and no one can go back to the past no matter how much we want to. Sure I regret some of the things I did in 2009, but all I can do is make sure I don't do it in 2010 or for the next 10 years for that matter. I hope that all of you live your life without regrets unlike me and just enjoy the small moments. Life is short. You never when your time is up. (RIP Brittany Murphy) As for my new years resolution, I plan to upgrade my wardrobe, become healthier, help other people, and do better in school. Wish me luck. What's your new years resolution(s)?-

Movie Review: Avatar

15 years in the making, James Cameron's image of far away planet called Pandora with the natives, Na'vi come to life this holiday season. To summarize the movie in one word...EPIC. The plot is smart, including elements of the ruthless desire of humans for wealth and the cultural aspect of the Na'vi and their ways. The movie is 160 minutes long but every minute of it was necessary to carry the story forward. The visual effects were stunning, and even better in IMAX 3D. James Cameron definitely created a blockbuster hit with Avatar and I want to see it over and over again. If you want to catch some good entertainment, this is something you should really go see, in IMAX 3D of course.

It's one thing to be absolutely gorgeous, but to be able to wear clothes as well as Blake Lively is just stunning. This girl is just beautfiul in whatever she wears. Miss Lively, I bow down to you.

Season for Giving

It's Christmas time aka the time for me to be broke...as always. I've found myself to be at the mall in the last four days doing some later Christmas shopping for te family. And shopping is way harder if it's not for yourself.

It's been a while

Oh wow. I am very sorry for the lack of updates. I've been very occupied with school and the other distractions of teenage life. But fashion did not take a back seat I can guarantee it. Actually my closet has evolved a lot and my knowledge of fashion is getting more mature as time goes on. I set up this blog app from my iPhone which means more updates more frequently. stay tuned.

Dreadful...

It was recently decided by the 2008-2009 University High School football program that morning lifting sessions were much better than those in the afternoon. Yes morning lifting sessions. What time? 6 in the morning. Yes. SIX IN THE FUCKING MORNING. Which means, i would have to go to bed at about 9-10 ish. if you ask me thats a little bit extreme. Although i like working out and keeping myself in shape. Getting only 6-7 hours of sleep really hurts my studies. And i recently vowed to myself to put school first and try to get into NYU for college. The upside is i get to go home at one o'clock and have more time to catch up on my schoolwork.


I guess it isn't that bad.


More time to do some fashion research eh?

Kanye West Louis Vuitton Sneakers

As many of you might have heard, Kanye West the self-proclaimed "Louis Vuitton Don" has collaborated with the fashion brand to create a line of five sneakers. The first one, as shown above, made its debut in the Paris during the Louis Vuitton show where Mr. West himself was a spectator. The shoe itself looks quite plain other than a flap at the back which i find unnecessary and quite silly. The one thing that I think Mr. West managed to do right was to not overuse the "LV" logo and splash it everywhere. Estimated to retail at a ridiculously high price, I just don't think these shoes are worth it.

CHANGE OF HEART

i just recently to have change my style and wardrobe choices. I have moved on from flashy sneakers and streetwear to a more conservative, classic and timeless approach. Dress shirts, sweaters, (jeans still present) coats and jackets, and simpler articles of clothing will be more present in my choices of clothes. A little splash of color here and there won't hurt (show a little bit of attitude [;).
